It is a 4-7 hour job to drop the subframe and replace all of the rear bushings. Might as well have them do the differential bushings, and possibly rear wheel bearings while they have everything taken apart. | | | 09-15-2008, 04:01 AM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Oh wow! I certainly don't have that type of money right now. And plus, I gotta save up cause I'm gonna start having probation. From what I hear, it's $100-$300 a month. And I only make $400 a month at my job. Dang, I was so excited about this buy too. T_T __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. So if you can find a shop that will do it for 50$ an hour. In Orlando, the cheapest rates at good shops is 65-75, some shops in this area charge as much at 115/hour. Which is where I got the really high estimate. If you can get labor at 50/hour or cheaper, it will be 300 or less. | | | 09-15-2008, 05:04 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2008 Location: Nevada Posts: 259 | Yep ya' gotta' find the right mechanic.
