Unfortunately, they won't. While I was waiting for the seller to answer some questions, someone else (apparently that lived close) PM'd the seller. They worked out a deal and the other person picked them up late last week. However, when I do finally find my set, I'm thinking about doing them the same way, even though that color is really expensive ($90/pint, $132/quart, $347/gallon from paintscratch.com).

I'm amazed at what the people at bfc are asking for, for stock scuffed up wheels. We're talking into the $1,500 range for either of these two styles :rollseyes

OMG... I was thinking the same thing when I first read that. LOL

It might look kind of cool though, if the plaid wheels matched the interior or something like that.

i think LTWs are way to pricey, DS1s and DS2s are going for much less, and would look nice painted IMO

Justin;

There are several sets of LTW's for sale here in NorCal. Do you want me to inquire for you? Might not be worth it having to ship them to you, but I would be happy to check it out...

So reskin the red millpoint interior I'm getting with fabric from a VW GTI, then paint the wheels to match? Sounds like it could be interesting.

If you would like, but you should note three things. First, I'm only looking for a stamped set, preferably staggered as well (says BMW Motorsport around the lugs and doesn't have the ///M sticker). Second, they need to be in nearly perfect condition. Third, I won't have the money for a week or two still. Final paperwork has been submitted to the insurance company, I'm just waiting for them to process it and send me the check. Besides, I'm not in a big rush. I won't be putting summer tires on for at least 6-8 weeks thanks to the weather here.

Justin;

Did some checking around here and while there are 4 sets for sale locally, they are all the non-stamped variety... There is a very nice staggered set in nearly perfect shape, but again, not stamped.

I'll keep my eyes open.
