Notice how close the mountain is @ 0:21. I'm guessing they built a replica platform and superimposed it onto the skyscraper.

Default 1M vs Concrete walls

The BMW 1M Coupé versus concrete walls.

Now, now Jess, the walls are real.

They may well have done some superimposing, but that one view isn't proof of it. I can't for the life of my remember the correct terms for this, but using camera lenses of different focal lengths will give you a different perspectives of a scene. Gah... it's not "depth of field"... geez... gotta keep googling. LOL

EDIT - I was thinking of "perspective." A lens with a long focal length "compresses" the image, and the background seems closer. For examples, check this page, and the "Focal Length" section of this Wikipedia page.

So, for that shot of the car on the rooftop, they were probably using a long focal length with the camera mounted on a nearby building.

The most important thing is the guy on the helipad colored within the lines. It's easy to spin around once or twice, but that was epic. And if he was on top of a building it was that x2
