I was thinking some H&R springs and blistein shocks. But other than that i dont have a clue. Is there anything around that price range that could be bought to "help" the performance. (Or in a $6000 price range bc my dirt bike is not as appealing after breaking my jaw.) And a second thing is, would it be smart to get a supercharger on a 166K engine. I drive crazy through the KC already, but would that not be good on such a used motor. Otherwise I'd actully save it and turn it into $1800. __________________ '96 Alaska Blue ti w/ Supersprint cat-back exhaust...Dinan CAI & Chip...Eibach Pro-Kit Springs...Bilstein Sport shocks...BavAuto camber kit...Brembo d/s rotors...UUC SSK...Centerforce Dual Friction clutch...TMS 9lb flywheel...18 inch OZ Rims...Carbon-Fiber dash/gauge bezel...Momo Shift Knob...Indiglo gauges...Schroth Harness...ZKW's/ProLumen 6k HID...Predator Chromiums http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...urowerksig.jpg | | | 10-11-2005, 07:23 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Portland Or Posts: 2,666 | Are you in Las Vegas? Enough money if you know how to install it yourself. $170 coilover kit 318ti Bavauto Nitrous Oxide System $599.95 grand Total = 769.95 + shipping. | | | 10-11-2005, 11:04 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: New Jersey Posts: 363 | When you first said how to waste $900 I immediately had the craziest thoughts going through my head on how to throw the best party ever, but apparently you want to spend it on you ti.... I can't help you in that area, but the suspension upgrade sounds good.... My friends and I have been known to blow $900 in a single night, but we are not gonna get into that topic... __________________ RIP Tonka Hitlerietta 08/03/04 - 01/25/05 | | | 10-12-2005, 02:32 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2004 Location: North Saint Paul, MN Posts: 606 | Quote: Originally Posted by adamud what is the $1800 item you would purchase | I'd probably just keep saving until I could do an s52 swap. What all is done to the car right now? If you haven't done anything to your suspension, I would recommend spending it on that. Do you foresee any maintenence coming up or any parts that may wear out soon? It would be better to spend it on that than any upgrades. Just make sure the base you work from is solid and reliable before you upgrade stuff. __________________ '96 Alaska Blue ti w/ Supersprint cat-back exhaust...Dinan CAI & Chip...Eibach Pro-Kit Springs...Bilstein Sport shocks...BavAuto camber kit...Brembo d/s rotors...UUC SSK...Centerforce Dual Friction clutch...TMS 9lb flywheel...18 inch OZ Rims...Carbon-Fiber dash/gauge bezel...Momo Shift Knob...Indiglo gauges...Schroth Harness...ZKW's/ProLumen 6k HID...Predator Chromiums http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y15...urowerksig.jpg | | | 10-13-2005, 09:29 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2005 Location: Detroit, MI Posts: 585 | Everything is stock and i had friends at baron BMW do an inspection and i replaced everything they said needed to be replaced. suspension is the final decision then thank you all and if anyone needs a Yamaha YZ250F 02' four stroke with protaper handle bars, power-now valve, new front forks. pretty much set up to race in any 125cc class, just contact me and we'll talk about it. | | | 10-14-2005, 08:01 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Lynchburg, VA Posts: 200 | Quote: Originally Posted by adamud I have saved up roughly $900 for my ti and i have no clue what i should spend it on.
