Default project 325i restoration

purchased 12/19/10 litteraly took it off the trailer 3 hours ago and now im back home relaxing after a 12 hour round trip drive. left at 430 this morning headed to Anaheim, CA to pick up my "new car"

picked it up for a decent price.
so far a small list of things it needs that i know about:
coils(6)
radiator
fan clutch
fan blade
fuel pump
drive shaft
alternator
p/s pump
a/c comp, condensor, and ac lines(probably going to wait till summer for these)
complete exhaust
air box(cant decide if i should throw a factory one in for now or just upgrade while its missing)
mass air flow meter
and an oil change

Note: since we couldnt start the motor the first thing we checked upon arival was the oil. Fresh oil would have caused me to suspect seller is trying to hide something, but it was old and didnt look milky or smell sweet so we can assume head gasket is fine.

exterior:
passenger fender
hood
windshield
front bumper and support
header panel
head lights
fogs
(basically a complete front clip)
wheels(i had to take my own to get it up onto the trailer)

interior:
both front seats
both front seat belts
air bag
radio
obc
back half of center console

i will tear down the front end and further look at it to see what else i need and probably pick up spark plugs and a mass air meter tomorrow to start it and make sure it runs. ill be sure to keep you guys posted with news and pictures.

Edit: i say small list because i have most of the body parts and a few of the mechanical parts already from previous cars. note the guy with the beanie is the previous owner and not me. car was hit but a drunk driver.

int and ext parts are being salvaged off my ti since i was parting it anyways.

minor progress since i picked it up.
it has some ddm euro tailes, which imho fit no where near right so they will come off as soon as i get ahold of some us spec o.e.m tails. rims off the ti have been put on so its not rolling on a donut, a full size spare, and 2 of my sisters wheels. and as horrible as dove grey seats sound inside a black interior it'll have to do for now. im probably not going to bother putting an obc back in there. began stripping the front down from everything that needs replacing. dont know if much if anything will be done tomorrow. or even until after christmas. im shortening my vegas vacation these next two weeks to come back and get this thing fired up.. any exhaust sugestions for once i get it put back together?

Man this thing looks as if it has some major frame damage. Would it not be cheaper to swap everything to another car?

frame looks alright, just the bullheads are bent. we have fixed cars like this before. dads 530 was worse than this. as much as id want to swap it all over to the ti, im actually starting to like the comfort of 4 doors. no more folding my seat over for ppl to get in. and the ti has a nice sized gash that goes up and over the drive shaft tunnel.
