Also, what are you lowered on and did you have to roll the fenders? I'm looking at a similar setup and this info would be great | | | 12-24-2013, 08:15 PM | #382 | Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: OBX NC Posts: 39 | 16x7.5 et22 with 225/50/16 BFGoodrich Sport Comp-2 | | | 12-24-2013, 10:04 PM | #383 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | Wow, reverse faces? I think they are et20 not 100% though, I rolled my arches when i first got them as i had doubts about getting the 9j under there, but in the end i wouldn't have needed to i don't think. I now run 15mm spacers on the front and back just because i like the poke :P that required some arch flaring! I'll upload some more pics when i get a chance, Its lowered on budget front coilovers and the rear has uprated gas shocks and not sure what the springs are, i just kept playing around with different ones until i got it to sit and handle nicely.. oh and i also run adjustable camber mounts on the front! Edit: This is how it sits with 15mm spacers and a fat friend in the boot Last edited by minimike; 01-13-2014 at 02:59 PM. | | | 01-14-2014, 03:03 PM | #388 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Auburn, Alabama Posts: 206 | Anyone here running 16x8 style 5s that are painted? Picked up a set for a good price and they need repainting. Should I go polished lips and a silver weave? Polished lip with gold weave? Or repsray the whole thing back to stock silver. __________________ -'98 318ti -'87 VW Scirocco, 2.0 Motronic swap -'95 VW Cabrio | | | 01-14-2014, 04:55 PM | #389 | Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: OBX NC Posts: 39 | If that's your white car in your sig, Gold would be flashy if that's your thing but it's a hard color to get right painting. Silver would be a little classier and easier to put down I'd think. | | | 03-04-2014, 11:42 PM | #390 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Style 268 16x7 et31, winter mode __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 2 (0 members and 2 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
