I think that would be near for the 2nd Ti I am buying which is keeping it's M44. | | | 03-25-2005, 07:47 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | Although I don't think anyone is using it (atleast no one on here or bimmerforums) you could probably call up BMP and talk to them. They should be able to give you plenty of information on it. | | | 03-25-2005, 08:01 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Muncie, Indiana Posts: 1,551 | Quote: Originally Posted by GDB Although I don't think anyone is using it (atleast no one on here or bimmerforums) you could probably call up BMP and talk to them. A couple weeks ago I saw some on recycler.com for $175 | | | 03-26-2005, 12:16 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | would they work? I am thinking boost w/ multi throttle bodies? like 5psi to 8psi I would have the current M44 rebuilt. but It might be better than trying to swap, cause I don't want to have the car go nose heavy with a six. | | | 03-26-2005, 12:38 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: oc-california Posts: 239 | im pretty sure there fit with little fab. theres alot of info on bimmerforums.com about this | | | 03-26-2005, 02:43 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | what about a turbo setup with a MultiThrottle? good idea? | | | 03-26-2005, 03:37 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: oc-california Posts: 239 | what turbo setup you gonna run? there sa 318ti.org member I think his name is marty or something and he has turbo ti. talk to him. If you gonna get a turbo Id recommend doing head work, bigger injectors, software and you going to need more fuel so I think those m3 TB will do. I would look into it more to see the best combo with the turbo. tell us what you find? thanks | | | 03-26-2005, 03:39 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: oc-california Posts: 239 | also talk to zeroG he knows alot about modifying a m44 eventhough his is S/C. | | | 03-26-2005, 04:46 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Port St. Johns, Florida Posts: 2,242 | I'd rebuild the M44, since it's got 140k miles on before i boost it. Well I need to see if I get my second Ti, before I agressively mod the Reis_Jager. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
