BMP's Multi-Throttle system for m42/44

anyone got any first hand info on this?

I think that would be near for the 2nd Ti I am buying which is keeping it's M44.

Although I don't think anyone is using it (atleast no one on here or bimmerforums) you could probably call up BMP and talk to them. They should be able to give you plenty of information on it.

I think their information would be somewhat biased, but I do not know of anyone that has one either.

i think those bmp throttle bodies are way over priced. 15-20 hp, would be good with other mods but, is it worth the marginal gain?

panzer- get some e30 m3 throttle bodies. A couple weeks ago I saw some on recycler.com for $175

like 5psi to 8psi

I would have the current M44 rebuilt.

but It might be better than trying to swap, cause I don't want to have the car go nose heavy with a six.

what about a turbo setup with a MultiThrottle? good idea?

what turbo setup you gonna run? there sa 318ti.org member I think his name is marty or something and he has turbo ti. talk to him.

If you gonna get a turbo Id recommend doing head work, bigger injectors, software and you going to need more fuel so I think those m3 TB will do.

I would look into it more to see the best combo with the turbo. tell us what you find?

also talk to zeroG he knows alot about modifying a m44 eventhough his is S/C.

I'd rebuild the M44, since it's got 140k miles on before i boost it.

Well I need to see if I get my second Ti, before I agressively mod the Reis_Jager.
