Anyone from England?

Just wondering how many others on here are from England. I'm a member of the BMW Car Club GB, and post on the forum over here click here to visit .

There are quite a few members who have compacts and I usually end up pointing them in the direction of this site, as its the only website I know dedicated to the compact.

on another subject completely, who thinks there is no need for a 1 series as there is allready a great little 3 door hatchback thats been out for years, tho' maybe I'm biased..

If I understand correctly, the 1 series is to replace the 3 series compacts... Unfortunately, because the 1 series looks pretty ugly IMHO! (Looks like a friggin' Opel/Vauxhall Astra). Maybe the 3 door version will look better tho.

Why does BMW have to bring out a 1 series when they also produce the new mini?
Also, I hate to say it, but I don't like the E46 compact either. If they kept the origional E46 headlamps rather than those horrible little round ones then maybe I'd like it. (a bit)
