Do you need the whole thing replaced or is it the motor?
Does it leak or what?
Have you tried the dealer?

I need the whole thing and it does leak on one side .
no I haven't tried the dealer i thing is going to be more expensive in the dealer don't you thing.

when it's close and it rains. the right front side stars leaking and it only that side. yes i did search but can't faind anything.

sounds like the seal. you could try reconditioning it or replace it. have you opened the top and checked the condition of the seal? BMW used to sell a product called gummi phlege that is used to recondition the rubber seals. you can get it here:

gummi fhlege i'd read of on a number of forums and it was specifically recommended and sold by bmw (but they no longer carry it). a google search brought up those two places pretty quickly.

the diagram is from a site called www.realoem.com which has the bmw ETK parts catalog online. you can enter the last seven digits of your vin and get the parts (more or less) specific to your ti
