Default New ish Ti owner in the Pacific Northwest

Hello everyone. I've had my little 97 m sport for a few months now. I love the car. It has an interesting story and is strangely optioned. I always swore to myself that when it came time to move on from my E30. That I would get a ti. After looking for about a month and a couple of failed attempts to find a clean ti. I came across my car. A 97 m sport in metallic silver with red Mill point interior. It had 126,000 miles when I bought it. What makes the story interesting is the problems that came with buying it. I found the car on Craigslist. It looked dirty and somewhat unloved. I made a time with the seller to go look at it. It had only been posted for one day. I asked him about any recent maintanece done. The guy had no idea. I still wanted the car so I left to look at it anyways. When arriving from the 4 hour drive to meet him. The first thing he says is that he doesn't have the title. Just an afadavit of lost title. The car was neat with the interior and m sport kit. I liked it a lot. However it looked like it had been sitting for a couple months. The interior was filthy and had standing water in the trunk. It also had moss all over it. On top of all of that the guy knew nothing about it and had owned it for a week without registering it. Upon driving it though it felt perfectly fine and I fell in love with it. I ended up buying it that day. And got lucky when I was able to register it and got a clean title in the mail. She's a little rough around the edges. And has some mechanical issues. Mainly suspension related (shakes when going over 60). But I'm working on getting it all fixed up. I also scored a set of ds1s for cheap and I love the way they look. I look forward to meeting more ti owners In the pnw!

Nice score.

That has the very hard to find factory rear spoiler.

I don't know what you paid but you can probably make your money back selling that spoiler alone (but don't do it!).

Welcome! I'm on the other side of the country but I'm a fan of Oregon.
