Default Different Parking / Side Lights for 97+ ti?

Are there different parking and sidemarker lights for the 1997 and newer ti? I have a 1996 ti and the sidemarker lights I bought do not fit at all. The ebay auction said it was for a 97 and newer 4 door / compact E36, but I figured it would be the same for my year, the 96. I bought parking lights with this too, and it seems like they will fit, but I'm just looking for more information. Thanks! Here's the link to the auction if that helps: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...156046349&rd=1

for 95-96 you have to have these:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E...spagenameZWDVW

They must have a place for a screw. 97+ i think just slides in.

well actually i ordered "smoked" corners and they looked the same as the clears just a little darker at night. if you really want the smoked effect you have to paint them or lamin-x them.
