Default ABS sensor replacement

Anybody know how much these cost? And ease of installion? Just to take care of the old dash light problem. Cheers

no clue what they cost. I pick them up every time i go to the junkyard.

To install, undo allen bolt, pull it out, and unclip it from the body connector. Installation is reverse of removal.

I think this will cost less than $200 not in junkyards. Installing it is just how you removed it.

Sensors from BMW are around £60 each, OEM around £40. In theory replacement is easy although as they've generally been in there at least 10 years they can put up a fight. Snapped the retaining bolt on mine and snapped the sensor in half and to use a variety of drills, coal chisels, hammers, mole grips etc to get the rest of the sensor out (if you take the caliper and the carrier off you can get to the side of the sensor barrel).

Also have you confirmed which sensor(s) are the problem to make sure you're not replacing a good one?

I wouldnt trust these parts at a wrecking yard. Although you prob. would be ok.

I need to replace these sensors too. I found these items @ Pelican parts...
