Default M50 Upgrades

Hi, I own a 1998 323ti, and I'm thinking to do some engine improvements.
I would like to make it 3.0 (or 3.2) with m54 internals and prepare some list with needed parts:

- m54 crank
- m54 rods and pistons
- m50 inlet manifold
- remap standard ecu or programable ecu

I need to say, M3's (any gen) are very very rare here in Brazil, so S2 swap or internals are difficult to find and too much expensive.
A friend told me he used C20XE pistons with some minors adaptations.

What do you think guys (and girls)?
