Hello! This is my first post on the forum, just asking your opinions on what I should do! The headliner on my 98 sierrarot ti has to be replaced. Which means I have the option of going with the factory material, OR something like the attached image with Relicate. Would that M-Tech seat fabric (polyester material) work as a headliner? Could I put that over the inside tan part of the door panel, and would it look good two tone with grey? I could also do a black rain or black purple rain. | | | 03-16-2021, 07:53 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | Might be best to ask the supplier of the material? I was considering doing an alcantara type of fabric for the roof __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 03-16-2021, 08:12 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2021 Location: CA Posts: 3 | What color would look best with a tan interior? And did you find a cheap alcantara supplier? | | | 03-16-2021, 09:13 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2012 Location: Dodging potholes in SoCal Posts: 454 | I actually haven't started looking yet...figured I would just go to an upholstery shop and talk to them. There's one in SoCal that my dad uses for his 69 1600-2 that I will likely try. My car has grey interior but black headliner and A Pillars. I like how dark it makes the interior! __________________ '96 318ti California Edition- Montreal blue '68 1600-2-Caribe blue | | | 03-16-2021, 09:16 PM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2021 Location: CA Posts: 3 | Ah gotcha. Emailed the supplier, said it would work. Yeah thats what im looking for. I like tan but prefer grey or black. especially that purple design in some ti's | | | 03-17-2021, 02:51 AM | #6 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT!
