Default Bit the bullet...

My stock 16" rims have been bent for quite some time now... and so I have had to deal with flats every so often.... anyways... time to upgrade now.
Getting new 18x8 5-120 40 offset rims with pirelli's hopefully in two weeks.. I'll keep you updated on the order. The rims are made by TSW, and the model is "Vortex"... to me, it's clearly an unoriginal name... but I love the looks.

What do you guys think? They will be hyper silver.. not much for chrome.

Well.. dunno. But I'm planning on keeping them... kinda sentimental about those things. Part of the car when I first got it...brand new.

Yes, another.

With the width at 8" and an offset of 40... do you think I'd have rubbing problems?

I ride on the stock M/Sport suspension height.

sounds like it should be fine as long as you don't have a big drop. what size tires are you going with?

Default tire size

I believe this is the exact tire that is on order with the rims.

Too small tires?

BTW... update... seems like the manufacturer hasn't even started production on the rims... just my luck. Oh well, still got the deposit in for them... just waiting on the product now.

I think there to small. Id do at least 225's if not also a 235 in the back.
i dont have rubbing issues and thats what i run.
How ever, i only run a 17in. wheel. But i do have 235/45's
where as your would be a 235/40.

Change of plans... cancelled the order for the Vortex rims because they aren't in production yet... (funny how it doesn't say that on the website)... and I ordered from Tire Rack instead.

Getting these instead...

The tire rack link doesn't work. It just takes me to the main page.

Nope... the link now produces:

Perhaps if you just listed the make/model of the wheels?
