sounds like a fun project. i look forward to the end result. make sure to take some pics of the interior, i'd like to see what the roll cage will look like installed and everything.

one question, why would you switch to a hydraulic e-brake?

The 316i came with drum rear brakes, no? If you're removing the brake cables as part of the hydraulic rear setup, would you ship the cables to me in the U.S. for the cost of shipping plus a little left over for a pint or two? My 318ti was apparently imported from Italy and has the rear drum brakes. What say you?
