Default Putting 318ti.org on your website

I hope this is ok with you Steven to do this:

Ok there was a convo going on in the myspace.com thread but I figure this would be easier and better. For those of you who wanted to post the 318ti.org banner on their website or myspace this is the code I am using:

<a href="http://www.318ti.org"><img src="http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/5383/318tiorglogo2agx0.jpg" border="0" alt="" /></a>

A good section to post this in is the about me section. Just copy the HTML code above

I set it up so it should take you to the website when the image is clicked. I am pretty sure this will work on websites other then myspace for those of you who dont have it, but do have a webpage. I hope this helps spread the word about the website and fills in any missing people on the road with a ti, and get them to come here for support and help.

To preview you can go on my myspace page: www.myspace.com/bmwchica Unfortunetly it is private due to some ex boyfriend issues and internet creeps, for those without a myspace and want to see it let me know and I will make it public for a couple of minutes if I am online at the time.

That'll be cool. I'm glad the banner is being hosted remotely rather than sucking bandwidth from me. I just hope it attracts 318ti owners and not people who just want to chat on yet another message board.

hopefully if enough members put them on sites it will get more ti owners on here. I have had a few ti drivers join my myspace that I dont think were on the forum. Not to mention bimmerportal has a myspace so I joined them. We shall see what happens.

  • You can also have the link open another browser window by adding target="new" to the A tag.
  • I suggest adding something to the alt attribute, e.g., alt="318ti.org"
  • I also suggest adding the appropriate height/width attributes to the IMG tag, e.g. ... height="77"
  • You can add a bit of white space by enclosing everything in a paragraph <P> your code here </P> ... or you can add the hspace and/or vspace attributes to the IMG tag, e.g. ... hspace="5" vspace="5"

Put it all together and you get:

<P>
<A href="http://www.318ti.org" target="new">
<IMG height="77" width="563" hspace="5" vspace="5" src="http://img238.imageshack.us/img238/5383/318tiorglogo2agx0.jpg" border="0" alt="" />
</A>
</P>
