Took the door card and insulation off and discovered that the window mechanism was totally dry; had no visible lube. Applied white lithium grease liberally on the tracks, gears and pivots. Mechanism is quick and quiet now. I recommend lubing the window mechanisms as preventative maintanence, to prolong both motor and track life. | | | 07-23-2013, 10:21 PM | #3037 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2013 Location: New York Posts: 133 | Lube Good tip. My passenger side is also making noise. I'll do this trick this weekend! | | | 07-25-2013, 06:46 PM | #3038 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Wisconsin Posts: 1,895 | New rear shocks this morning. I'm bummed that you didn't call Cindy Lou and I for an update.
