Default Will I rub?? Save me some time here!

I am installing new wheels on my Ti tomorrow. As far as i can tell the car is sitting on H&R race. Really Low....Tires on it now are 215/45/17. I know nothing else about the wheels. They were installed by the PO. No rubbing. I will be installing BBS RC041 wheels tomorrow. 17-7.5 ET 41 with 235/40/17. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if i will have rubbing issues with the larger tires. They are nice and meaty and were already installed when i bought them. They are Kumho Ecstas. No point in replacing if they will work. Car needs enough other crap. Money Pit

235 seems kinda fat for those particular wheels. Is that all the way round?

Yeah, apparently. They actually fit nicely on the rims. The seller told me they were 215s. I bought them over the net, and wow are they clean. I tried that stickied tire calculator and according to it they 235 40s are actually slightly smaller in width and diameter than the 215 45s. Doesnt make sense to me but i dont know dookie.

235 is going to be wider than the 215 for sure. Anyways, you might find yourself rubbing in the front. The rear should be fine. The only way to really know is to put the wheels on and go for a little stroll.

btw..I have the same wheels stacked away
