Heres that hose pushed to the side exposing the location if where the throttle cable passes through the firewall.

Next, remove these 3 screws holding the kick panel up, and lower it down a little. Carefull, a few connectors need to be undone before removing the panel completely.

Here are the 2 connections. 1 is for a footwell light, the other is for the door chime. Disconnect both and pull that panel out.

Now u can see where the throttle cable connects to the accelerator pedal. I left my driver seat mounted and just laud in my back under there. The cable is mounted to the pedal using just a small rubber gromet. Its a good idea to replce that grommet to the the cable has a tight fit onto the pedal mount.

After you push the cable out from the pedal mount you need to remove these plastic locking tabs from the firewall. I used a flat head screw driver to break off the upper tab, and then a chanel lock plier to squeeze the lower tab and push it through into the engine bay.

To remove the cable from the throttle body u need to compress this rubber gromet and pull it out. Then on the throttle mount there a small plastic mount that comes out easily and has a split on one side to remove the cable.

After reinstalling the replcement cable the rest is pretty straight forward. Push the cable back through the firewall. Insert the rubber grommet into the pedal mount, and insert the cable mount into the pedal mount. This image shows the adjust screw for cable tension/ throttle response.
