Default Vinyl & fabric spray?

Anybody tried that Vinal & fabric spray. I was wondering how well it works on fabric and if it wears off from constant rubbing. I was thinking of getting wet okle seat covers but then my cloth insert on the doors probably wouldn't match the inserts on the seat covers, so i thought about painting it to match.
Anybody tried it on the cloth inserts of the seats? (proabably a stupid idea but never hurts to ask)

well i tried a spot on my last sport seats in my green ti and it seems like it wouldnt be to bad but the gloss black doesnt match and the flat doesnt match it well either. i think a semi gloss would be best but i couldnt find semi gloss.

are you wanting to redo all the colors? i would recommend a leather dye

We used it on seats for a Jeep YJ so that all the seats would be the same color (cloth seat, vinyl back). Didn't rub off but we let them dry in the sun & heat for at least a day.

Actually it could have been more, it took us a while to get the car running.

I was thinking about doing this myself. So, it works ?! Does it look good ?!

What I am getting out of this is -- You can't match colors very well, but it does work, and looks decent.......

Yea i seen it done on one of those shade tree mechanic shows once and they painted a vinyl door piece and it looked really good but the gloss black was very shiny so i could see how it wouldn't match much in the black ti interior. They used a couple of different products with it. One was a cleaner that had 3 intitials for the name (cant remember what) and the second was a primer/adhesion promoter. Looked pretty promising.

Anybody else tried it or know someone who has?
