Default Am looking at a 318ti

Alright it is a 97 318ti, sadly automatic, immaculately maintained and I have the repair invoices from the original owner to go with them. Now it has 226302 miles on it with no lights. It was just msi inspected 2 years ago and only had 220000 when that inspection was done.

Now the issues.

Windows will not roll down.

The steering wheel likes to stay locked when car is on, but once you shift to drive it doesn't happen again.

Now the kicker is that she wants 500 for it.

What do you all think the worth of this thing is? I have never owned a BMW but sure do not want to pass this up.

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I would give the owner $100 earnest money then take the car to a good shop for an inspection. If the news is bad you're only out $100 plus inspection fee. Any car immaculately maintained is worth $500 IMO. Good luck. John
