Default California Roof realigned cable?

Is there a way to realigned the cables (left and right sides) for the California roof or I need to remove the whole top off? Basically the roof is opening crooked.

The motor seems to work, it can open and close but somehow the driver side cable isn't getting pulled all the way to be closed flushed (passenger side is closed flushed). However the passenger side does not open all the way because the driver side reaches to the rear open position first by an inch or so before the passenger side gets a chance)
