Working on a little 350hp ti and plan to widen it a bit more for my 245/285 setup as well as going lower. Theres a lot more to the story, but here is a small glimpse into the ideas in my head. What do you guys think? Not the greatest at PS, but you get the idea. It kinda disrupts the asthetics of the body lines. I think if you widened the lower trim along with the other changes, it would tie it all together better...but I imagine that was part of the plan too? I like idea of widening, especially since your running lsx and your wheel width is demanding more room. Have you thought of any other ideas/options, or just this one? __________________ | | | 03-27-2011, 06:10 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 03-27-2011, 06:13 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Looks just fine to me __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 03-27-2011, 08:19 AM | #7 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Exactly what I had in mind for my project Tony. Ill try to make replicas if they all turn out good. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 03-27-2011, 05:44 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I like it, can't go wrong with some E30 M3 style | | | 03-27-2011, 06:41 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Westerville ohio Posts: 106 | I have this kit for my m3 coupe, I was waiting to find a nice clean roller chassis to install the kit on while i still drove the m3. Anyways, that plan changed, but i've done some measurements, and sketching, and it is possible to adapt the coupe kit to the ti. The side skirts require no modification, The rear needs an inch and a half cut out of it to fit the rear fender flares. The front needs to have 4-5 inches trimmed out of the kit somewhere to accommodate the shortened fender length over the coupe. Sourcing a sedan kit would be the easiest for the front but it was never made for the sedan body. I'm looking to go the WB route with my ti as well. We should swap ideas and if you want you can come check out the kit and see if we can work out the best way to mount it. | | | 03-27-2011, 08:45 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Sounds good to me, is it a replica kit or is it orginal? __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 03-27-2011, 08:55 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2011 Location: Westerville ohio Posts: 106 | Dtmfiberwerkz zeemax style. | | | 03-27-2011, 09:02 PM | #15 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
