Ill be creating my kits out of carbon fiber/kevlar hybrid materials rather than all fiberglass. I think my biggest issue will be the side skirts and gas tank. 18x10 ET25 285/30/18 BFG gforce 52.8lbs __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 Last edited by Bluebimma; 03-27-2011 at 10:55 PM. | | | 03-27-2011, 11:20 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2009 Location: nj Posts: 1,099 | __________________ 318ti MZK2 | | | 03-28-2011, 12:21 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 1,464 | Quote: Originally Posted by Bluebimma | ^^^ THESE! The zeemax is basically a wider version of the acs, with a more integrated fender flare rather than the abrupt sharp extension of the acs kit. Here is an e36 coupe using the zeemax fender flares. This one is pretty much how I want the TI to look, except I want to Use the Zeemax side skirts as well, rather than the stock m3 twisty's. I will be keeping my stock m3 bumpers, front and rear as I like them alot better than any custom front bumper made. I think the only change to the rear bumper would be to cut out the passenger side of the diffuser to accommodate a dual exhaust setup ala the m roadster/M Coupe. I would also keep my stock m-tech wing from my m3. | | | 03-28-2011, 04:37 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | That looks nice. The rear diffuser I can make for you, I'm already using the coupes dual exhaust setup on mine with a custom cf diffuser that spans to the underside of the diff. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 03-28-2011, 05:49 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2008 Location: North Carolina Posts: 190 | Hey blue, can you post pictures of your custom diffuser. After seeing some widebody pinto's, I like ford pintos! Le-car turbo? Toyota starlet widebodies..Yes our ti's already look cool, just not in a radical way. Pics of the diffuser! Thought about converting a production unit such as gt40 or ferrari. Here's a pic of a ferrari diffuser someone started grafting onto their e46.. I wish I had a picture of my old boss's mustang widebody. ' 67 fastback but front wheels moved forward, unibody rails cut out and frame rails put in to lower the whole body more, wheel opening raised and a factory looking widebody that makes the old ponycar look like a prancing horse.. (cheesiest parts on there are the gt500 parts, and I say cheese since the side vents are fake like most were back then) too bad the owner didn't have the money/desire to finish it. If anyone knows someone (that's loaded) that wants the coolest mustang fastback ever.. Makes the eleanor car look dorkier than it already was. Makes the new mustangs look even taller.. like the new camaro's and challengers. | | | 04-02-2012, 06:13 AM | #27 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Memphis Posts: 14 | this is the body kit im trying to find!!! where can i find it? whats the name? im building a ti show car. There is a set of fender flares I think for a 240sx that fits the e36 without much problem maybe something to consider I dont remember details but a guy here in Oklahoma races at Hallett has them on his car I believe. If you mite wanna look into it I'll ask a couple guys that told me about it see if the remember. | | | 04-25-2012, 04:58 AM | #30 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | I love the wide body look on that Schnitzer ti. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
