So it seems we got two entirely different problems __________________ Matt 98 BMW318ti / blue ~ 86 Porsche 944 / guards red. | | | 03-11-2011, 03:19 AM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by herk402 Guess I wasn't clear about my problem. Since you have a code for the EWS you might try jiggling he antenna ring or inspecting the wiring under column there. | | | 03-11-2011, 06:18 PM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Since you have a EWS code I would replace the antenna ring. They are cheep and it will most likely take care of your issue. If not you will need a new EWS unit and have it alligned to your DME and keys. | | | 03-12-2011, 12:13 AM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Well if the lights and such light up with the key, how about the CEL in the ON position. If not, get a jumper cable and attach one end to the engine and the other to the chassis ground/or battery. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
