Wink How to get power to the left of the instrument panel?

I'm putting a GPS/cell phone unit on the dash to the left of the instrument panel. Is there a relatively simple way to run power to that area?

I searched the forum and found the switched and non-swithced power source under the manual shifting knob. http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=14075

Is it easy to run wires from there to the dash on the left of the instrument panel, and how? I'd like to hide the wires as much as possible.

TI guru's please advise! I can use all the instructions I can get!

Thanks!

Default

You can run power from the console or go directly through the firewall to the fuse box (there is a positive lead there, can be switched if you use a relay). Either way, you'll have to remove the knee bolster, easy way to hide the wires.

Try ProClip for mounts.
