Default Bobbing problems?

I'm about to buy a 318 from my friend, she said when she gets up to speed the front starts bobbing up and down, or when it's really windy. Is this a big problem? And how would I go about fixing it?

ps; sorry if this is in the wrong section or anything, it's my first time here haha

Sounds like bad shocks/struts, possibly bushings, tie rods, tires...Probably all original and in dire need of replacement.

everything is stock, just under 200k miles. I was planning on putting in some suspension upgrades anyways, what should I look at getting?

In that case, be ready to spend some $$. Replace every single bushing on the car, strut/shock mounts, and since you are doing upgrades toss some decent springs and struts.

FCP groton has decent front end kits with poly bushings for a good price. The rest of the stuff is all your choice and what you want out of the car.
