Just want the correct one, so I can purchase tonight. May get them before the weekend then. l | | | 01-09-2008, 10:56 PM | #47 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | gameon, I'm unfamiliar with EU suppliers, but I imagine the dealership won't charge you an arm, a leg and your first born. They're pretty cheap. They can be ordered here in the states from various websites as well as the dealership, but I'm afraid it wouldn't be worth the international shipping. Afraid i'm not a cop, I just pay way too much attention to detail. Use the factory part # 72118119186 at the dealer or online retailer and you should be able to get ahold of them. __________________ BMWCCA #403399 2012 Mini Cooper S Clubman, 6-Speed Loaded 2001 325xi, Winter Package, 5-Speed Traded 1998 318ti, Active, Automatic, TOTAL LOSS R.I.P. 10/20/08 Bilstein Sport Shocks/Struts . Just really seems to be a anti-lock yourself out device. lol EDIT: Also, when you are locked in the car, everything unlocks when you simply open the door. __________________ I'm back with a different 95 ti | | | 01-10-2008, 12:22 AM | #50 | Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: United Kingdom Posts: 38 | Is this as standard with the bmw 318ti then? | | | 01-10-2008, 12:46 AM | #51 | Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: United Kingdom Posts: 38 | Thanks for your help | | | 01-10-2008, 01:19 AM | #52 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Stamford, CT <-> Boston, MA Posts: 1,393 | Quote: Originally Posted by gameon Ok. When I first bought mine, I kept trying to upshift, then realized I was already in 5th, so, yeah, it's a noisy little engine. I found that it quiets down above 80 mph tho' :-) As for the seat cover thing, I put good sheepskins on my seats to protect the upholstery and add some comfort. They are cool in the winter and warm in the summer! I also thought my speedometer was lazy. Turns out to be about 3-4 mph fast.
