Default Missing Something

I had to change the rear plastic tubing to the block because it broke. So I took it apart, fix it, and put it all back together again. Start the car and the car is revving at 2500 rpm. I think there is something that I did or didnt connect something right. If it has happen to any of ya before, PLEASE HELP. I paid Pep Boys over 500 to fix the same problem before. I feel so stupid taking it back to get fixed. Hopefully I can figure something out.

If its a steady 2.5k and you can rev it further without issues, your throttle cable may just be stuck open. You could also just have a vacuum leak from taking everything apart or bumping/breaking something.

One time I accidentally switched where the main throttle cable and cruise control throttle cable go on the throttle body bracket and it caused the car to rev from 1000-2000rpm at idle.

Thank you so much. I will try both options. I will let you know by tomorrow.
