I am in Chicago. I don't know of many shops here yet but I just got a quote from Zimma motorsports to do some maintenance on mine. I know of a shop in Cincinnati (not too far) that has done an M52 swap into a Ti that I could refer you to.

I go to a show almost every weekend btw, if you ever want to talk TIs.

I live in St. Charles too! I just bought an Alpine White 1995 318ti with an M52B28 swap.

As for shops that could do a swap, there are 3 around here, 2 in St. Charles. The first is right in downtown St. Charles in the old NAPA building. EP3Motorsports is the name and Brian is a real good dude. The next is Euroquipe off of Tyler Road in St. Charles. I've been taking my 330 there ever since I bought it and they have never let me down. Tim and Kent are awesome guys! Last, is LukeGWorkshop in Roselle. I have never used them, but I have talked to the owners about getting some work done and they too are good, honest guys.

There's a great classic car show in Winnetka this Sunday if y'all are interested. I go as a spectator but always drive the TI.

It's coming along. EP3 is doing a tuneup for me. Should be getting it back sometime this week.

FunElan, Winnetka is kinda far for me, so I'll probably have to pass. It sure would be fun to set up a Ti meet though so maybe we could throw around some ideas!
