 Slow oil leak and can't find the source
My car only leaks about 1 quart every 3 days which isn't too bad. No but seriously it takes about 3-4 weeks to leak a quart, and every time it is parked a small spot is left on the ground that was right under the crossmember area. The car had been flipped and slid before my dad and I bought and repaired it so I'm not sure if that cracked something or what. It seems to leak more from the bottom half of the engine so I think it might be the oil pan gasket or oil pan itself. If not that then I have heard something about the seal on the oil filter housing. Any suggestions? |
