Hi guys, I've browsed this forum for a while, but this is my first post. For those of you that frequent other BMW forums, you might already know me. I have a '97 318ti Sport in Alaska Blue. It's got just over 103,000 miles on it, but it's barely broken in! Here are some pics: Since I bought it, I've added clear lights all around, ZKW Ellipsoid headlights, and a set of BMW 17" wheels that I bought from the local dealer. They're a similar style to the ones on the Z8, but a slightly different version. They were also used in 16" size on the Z3 Coupe 2.8. I also found this picture from a few years ago, taken a short time after I bought the car and when it was still 100% original. __________________ 1997 318ti Sport, Alaska Blue w/ Black & Grey Interior, | | | 05-30-2005, 10:16 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | So that is what they look like when they are clean. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 05-30-2005, 10:20 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Warwick, RI Posts: 26 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti So that is what they look like when they are clean. | I washed it today (all 3 BMWs, actually)... We had alot of rain up here this week, and it hadn't been cleaned in a while. It looked really bad. __________________ 1997 318ti Sport, Alaska Blue w/ Black & Grey Interior, | | | 05-30-2005, 10:24 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | I have a 96 Alaska Blue. I'm definately digging the wheels. OEM, and I don't think I've ever seen them before. | | | 05-31-2005, 01:40 AM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2004 Location: Warwick, RI Posts: 26 | Quote: Originally Posted by GDB Very nice looking car. The 59 wheels have a different offset and there is a recessed area around the lug bolts/centercap. __________________ 1997 318ti Sport, Alaska Blue w/ Black & Grey Interior, | | | 05-31-2005, 01:59 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: New Jersey Posts: 363 | A BMW family eh? When I was born, I came home in a BMW. We've had BMWs for as long as I can remember. __________________ 1997 318ti Sport, Alaska Blue w/ Black & Grey Interior, | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
