Cool. Keep the list coming.
Here are the pics of the car out of the tree and towed back to my house
http://www.typer.us/bmw2/ The tree guy said the tree was healthy. So I know they won't pay the claim.
There just one more insurance company I need to check and then the parts are going to start selling.
Look like a 90%-95% chance I'm going to part the car. After assessing the damage, there are a TON of parts still usable and great shape. The engine survived, so if anyone was looking for one to turbo, this one was BONE stock and ran great.
It looks like there would be a ton of work to fix the firewall (pully all the engine parts and and crap). So I'm not going to pay someone to fix it.
The front bumper is in wonderful condition except for a small scrap that the previous owner made a week before I got the car..
All the glass is good.. Everything else looks good on the car. I'm glad the tree totally missed the rear hatch and bumper. The entire exhaust system survived. The radiator is in excellent shape..
I'll have to research all the parts and see how much they cost new and discount them appropriately. So much work to do..
