Anybody have an idea what the problem might be? __________________ | | | 01-12-2007, 03:24 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Have you checked your fuses yet? __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 01-12-2007, 05:16 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | if it's not the fuses you might have to replace the headlight switch. I did it today, not too hard at all. Paid like 35 bucks for it at a dealership. #6: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...98&hg=61&fg=35 PS: Don't go to bavauto because they have the wrong one listed | | | 01-12-2007, 07:03 AM | #4 | Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Fort Riley, KS <-> Haverhill, MA Posts: 91 | Ive tried everything, I can think of. I pulled the cluster apart and checked the bulbs, checked the fuses, check out the switch, and even spent a whole afternoon chasing wires so see if i pinched one somewhere. Ill take a look at the switch again, that would make sense to me because everything works the way it should lighting wise with the exception of the lights on the cluster, and center console. In regards to ripping apart my car, its amazing the confidence you gain when you work on 12 million dollar helicopters. __________________ | | | 01-12-2007, 09:32 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Bremerhaven, Germany Posts: 977 | Quote: Originally Posted by crewdog153 In regards to ripping apart my car, its amazing the confidence you gain when you work on 12 million dollar helicopters. | That's cool, but how good are you with avionics? | | | 01-12-2007, 06:21 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Fort Collins, CO Posts: 1,305 | gotta be the switch then | | | 01-14-2007, 12:32 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Fort Riley, KS <-> Haverhill, MA Posts: 91 | I looked more closely at the switch, and thats definatly the problem.
