Default Ebay FS Ad: Club Sport

Saw this ad while making my rounds looking around today. It's in the San Diego area. Looks extremely well cared for. 168k on the clock. If it were Red I would be driving it home. (Not affiliated with the seller)

Jesus, that's almost as clean as my ride when I first got mine. Even my hub caps were very clean. I wish I had the money to buy that one. Would love to have 2 clean ti's.

looks clean, but he has an M3 cluster with the M42, seems kind of odd there's no pics of the cluster on which makes me wonder if the manipulation dot is on

That's very clean and it's a '95. Wish my '95 was just as clean, but mine is showing signs of aging.

hey honestly its a beautiful car and i wish one of those would have been for sale when i bought my ti but that is almost too clean it seems to good to be true like someone must have died in it or it must be fake or something but even soo i think i would still buy it but it only motivates me to make a ton of cash and bring mine up to that condition.

For a second I thought that was my old ClubSport. Had to verify the VIN, it was pretty close! Mine was WBACG5321SAM53492 and that one is WBACG5323SAM53476.

I almost thought the same thing, but that thing was to clean compared to what you described to me. Anyways, I made an offer. I can't resist it. Wish me luck bro...

This is the first ad I can recall where the description was factually correct.
Nice looking car. I wonder if the tach is off though because of the M3 cluster?

The seats are remarkable considering the age.
The previous owners must have weighed nothing.

It's just missing one thing. A 318ti.org decal.

And there is a VIN request on Mallard's thread for AM53490!

I hope someone here gets this car. It looks great and with an AZ title should be perfect under the car.

Jimmy, that thing looks every penny worth the 5500 he's asking, but it really depends on what it looks and drives like in person. Hope he takes your offer, that would be an awsome car to start over with.

The cluster thing is definitely cause for concern. I would make sure to see if the manipulation dot is lit. Hopefully it'll be sportin a decal in the near future. I have a couple extras that I'd be willing to give to the buyer if he/she becomes a site supporter since you mentioned that you're out of them at the moment Steven.

That's really cool! The cars were practically sitting next to eachother at the factory in Germany at one time!

what do you mean "manipulation dot"? is that a fraud device or safety device or something?

I checked the vin on my Clubsport but its not as close as those two.
My vin is WBAC65325SAM53530. My clubsport has a sunroof and I heard there were only a few that were made without it. Sure the frame is a bit stronger on the ones that don't have it.

Fraud device for when the mileage in the cluster doesn't match the ECU.
