thank you! its the best i can do with an open differential. I'll take your word if u can show me up in your ti without a LSD.

another problem with an open differential. no traction therefore no speed. although i maybe be completely wrong to blame my unsuccessful attempts at my differential. feel free to prove me wrong with some proof.

having an open diff isn't impossible to drift well with.
my ti has an lsd, so i can't show ya anything there... but here's a buddy of mine in his 328is with an open diff drifitng around (and hey, i filmed it ) this was at limerock on the gokart track with dgtrials.

he's a good driver with lots of seat time. that car has over 210k on it, and he's owned it since about 60k.
practice makes perfect.
no diff = weight trasfer. If you try to power over or snap over, you'll just light up the inside. you need to do a fake and let the weight of the car push you out, not the throttle.
watch his vid closely... you can see he gets sideways before theres tire smoke from spinning

Yea, but it's not easy doing it in a auto. His car is a MT. I can only push the car into 1 drift. After that, the car loses its momentum and throttling no longer helps; unless I have enough time to set up for the next turn.
I still have to see how well I can pull it off with my new suspension. Everything is a lot more stiffer and difficult.

it can be done in an auto.... but yeah, its an auto. lol the only disadvantage you have is that you can't do a clutch kick. and frankly, with an open diff, you don't want to do a clutch kick anyway.
again, it's all about weight transfer.
go watch some ae86 guys get it out. They are VERY underpowered (stock). you'll see these guys use the weight transfer technique over anything else relating to power or lsd's help.

has nothing to do with the LSD, your just giving it too much gas in the video. Just get it up to speed and throw the weight around.
yea i get what u guys are saying but i kinda didnt have much room and there was snow on the ground! a bit hard to get up to speed in a small area and also there is no way of abruptly stopping before slamming into the curb either so gimme a break. just trying to have some fun.

I watched your vid yesterday and thought that you were having fun in a very responsible way... Obviously it wasn't Tokyo Drift, part II... But that's ok... No excessive speed or endangerment of others.. It looked like you were enjoying yourself, and not being stupid about it.
Also, what exhaust are you running?
