Question E36 Headlights & Fog lamps

I know this is topic has been discussed a million times however I have several questions and "yes", I've searched.

As of July 2010,

1. Which e36 headlights & fog lamps design illuminates the road the best (OEM, projector, HID and so on)
2. Which bulb color would you recommend for headlights & fogs?
2. Which aftermarket headlight & fog lamp manufacture has the highest quality?
3. Which vendor including eBay sellers has the best price on headlights & fog lamps?

I have already spent hours reading different opinions on this matter. As of today, I'm leaning towards DJ Auto E36 Headlights from ddmtuning.com for $135 a pair.

I would really appreciate any feed back

dj autos probably got the best bang for your buck
bulb color is your prefernce, the higher up you go the more you will annoy drivers in front of you. also keep in mind the laws around where you live when it comes to the color/brightness.im thinking about 6000k lamps and 10000k fogs.but then again in az they dont complain about lighting like they would in say, California.

In terms of lighting up the road, 4500K is your best bet. 55w will put out a lot more light and wash the color out a bit, where 35w 4500K hids would be slightly yellow, the 55w would be more white.

Not sure about the latest projectors, I have Depos and have had no problems at all, got them from DDM last year. I have 55w 4500K.

I've heard DJ Auto's aren't that great, I'd go with the Depo's

I actually have OEM headlights with Sylvania Silverstar bulbs in my highs and lows, if you ask me the lighting output from that is completely adequate so I don't really understand the whole HID craze myself

I would either go with bavtoys.com or ddm.

As for the color, check with your local PD and see what color is legal.

Haven't seen the Ebay ones, not to keen on the quality myself but thats just my opinion.

And yes I know I'm posting at a really late time lol I have a final for my summer class and then I have to start packing to go back to SIUC, and get my resume finished before I leave for school to hand into Bosch for the co-op/internship.
