Default SOLD: 1996 318ti Sport

I just bought an 08' 135i last week which leaves me in a position to possibly sell my ti.

PRICE: SOLD

PICTURES

I am the second owner since it's birth and have sat in this thing for over 8 years now. I have every record of every part that has been installed on this car. I believe there are only 3 or 4 non OEM BMW parts on the vehicle. I couldn't possibly show you all the records because they are in a 3" ringed binder that would take days to scan or take pictures of each page. Let's just say this car will be going well past the 300k range. I actually don't know how to advertise this car because of its age... It looks like an 17yr old car but runs like a 6yr old car. This car is 100% stock except for the headlamps, radio & short shifter. It has also ONLY SEEN 1 WINTER! Every winter, this car sat in a nice sealed tight garage... Until last year.

The exterior has some tiny hail damage from many years back. The M-sport fascia grille is out, but in hand. Few door dings and scratches. Rear bumpers paint is slightly fading.

06/1996 318ti Sport - 241k

-New fuel filter 240k
-Clutch was replaced at 165k
-Non sagging headliner - 165k
-Continental DWS tyres - 238k
-Front wheel bearings - 235k
-Diff and tran oil change - 239k
-Mobil 1 full syn - only oil I've ever used in it
-A/C compressor - 230k
-Defrost mirrors work still!
-28-32mpg STILL!

I can get pictures up sometime this week, but I want to wax it first!!! She's still my baby!

------
I keep remembering more and more things I'd like to say about that people would like to know.
------
Forgot to mention one thing. I can save you the trouble of running a CARFAX if you would not like to pay for one. The carfax will show that this car has been in an accident. This accident involved my car being parked and a lady backing into the driver door. I had the car taken to C&D Butler in Shawnee Mission, KS to repair. They did not buy a used door and simply repaint it. All the body number on the car still match. While they were at it, I had them remove a fairly large door ding in the driver front fender. That was a part that I could have sworn would have had to been replaced, but they popped it out and made it look like new! The front quarter panel, driver door and part of the rear panel have been resprayed in the last...5-6years. I'd have to look in the books.

No doubt in my mind it would make!!

Funny thing about Texas is, this is where this car was originally from!

If you did want to buy this, I could drive it down to KC to make the drive a little shorter for you. Give me a chance to see the fam as well!

Just a few photos I snapped before I got into work today.

Give me this weekend to really clean her up and get everything out of her to really get a large array of high quality pictures. I'll upload them to G+ so they won't lose quality.

You can see the missing lwr front grille and a split in the front bumper. After 8 years the patch I put on there finally came apart. I plan on fixing that here shortly and guessing it will hold for another 8 years. My guess was the crack came from the lady before me hitting an armadillo down in Texas.. <-- complete guess

I'd be interested too. Again, I live in Holland, MI, so it would be easy for me to take a look at it and pick it up. I'm available almost any time this week to check it out.

I will give you a call today and we can talk about it! Just as a heads up, I will be out of town this weekend.

And for everyone else --> no pictures were taken this weekend. Mother nature decided to rain all weekend

Finally took some quick pictures.

Car was not clean because it just rained the day before. Interior will be steam cleaned by me if there is ever a non raining weekend. I pointed out the hail damage as best I could. The worst ding is on the passenger front quarter panel. If someone knows a better what to get clarity of the dings (other than a sunny day and nicer camera!), please let me know.
