Yeah it is an odd part - nothing to it at all!! Glad the DIY helped- took me a bleeding long time to figure it out on my own so glad I saved someone else days of rippin their car apart!!

This heater business is doing my head in now! Fitted the correct resistor tonight and the fan only works on number 3 & 4 now! Why isn't 1 & 2 working??? Any ideas what I can try next anyone??

Dodgy resistor?? Iv heard of people gettin em an still not working as it's already broken from factory.. Or the wires come off the knob- especially if u had the dash out looking for the resistor before.. Does the knob feel normal when moving through all the settings??

Well I thought it could be dodgy, il get back again and see if I can return it, it's strange how just number 3&4 work. Il take out the radio and check the wires to the control knob first. Yer it clicks on each number fine.

Just be careful with the new one- don't touch the metal parts an hold it by the edges- if u brake any of the connection strips than it will just work on certain numbers..
