Default LA wheel, Star Spoke 119 17" compatible?

Recently bought a refurbished 1995 318ti for my son, looking to improve the wheels. It presently has 205-50-16 and I was thinking of using an extra set of alloys from my E46 on the ti. Specifically, the 17" LA Wheel, Star Spoke 119 8J x17 ET:47. From my research and using the tire size calculator on this site, it appears they would fit without modifications. Any member know if I am right or will they rub on the inside or outside of the ti wheel well?

I suggest taking a look at the "wheels on cars" thread, where there are hundreds of wheels posted on the ti.

And welcome to the site.

Thanks Jim, I should have mentioned I went through the 33 pages of Wheeels on Cars and did not see the LA Star alloys on any of the cars which I found strange as they are extremely popular on the E46 models.

In that case, find another wheel with the same diameter and offset (I know not everyone was listing those details) and if you find a match, you'll know it'll fit OK.

A search of "ET 47" would narrow it quickly I'm sure...
