Angry Ti Got HIT!!!

My parents took my car out last night for dinner. As they were trying to back out. A silver SUV slammed into the rear of the car. Smashed my Hatch in, but didn't break the window. It also messed up my rear bumper. I was just wondering how much it would be to get a new Hatch, and bumper. Her insurance company is going to pay for it, but I want to know what i have to look forward to. I hope they think its worth fixing. 135,000 miles 1997.

Oh man that sucks... I hope it all works out. My car was hit&run last week and I'm still grieving. It doesn't look totaled though so I wouldn't worry that much.

Yeah I went to get some estimates today. They told me it was going to be $2600. It is the most I've ever been quoted for such little damage. everything has to be new. Crazy.

I don't see alot of damage on the bumper, I'd gladly buy it off you if your getting a new one.

Mine is definitely worse than yours..

Maybe it's time to upgrade to Carbon Fiber hatch.
Since it's black anyway.
Good Luck with it.

Doesn't look too bad from the pics. Your ti will be back in no time.

Thanks guys. I was just wondering who sells a CF Hatch. That would be sweet to have one of those. Seeing as I'm getting a new one.

I think there is a thread around here about CF hatches. I didn't think anyone actually made them though. Check the search.

I'm serious about your bumper. Don't let them throw it away.

Ok I'll save it. I know it can be repainted. The paint was just scraped off the top. I'll let you know.
