Default Spare tire no longer fits.

For those of you who have upgraded front brakes, what do you do as far as a spare tire goes in the front? the stock spare no longer fits and i was wondering if a spare off a different e36 will fit under the car or not. any solution would be greatly appreciated. thanks

Many people who upgrade the brake system can't put anything smaller than 17's on there car. If i upgraded to a big brake system or an m3 type set i'd have to put 17's on.

If you've only done the front brakes and you get a flat in the front you pull a good tire off the back. Put the spare on the back. Then put the good tire in place of the flat tire on the front.

If you've done both front and back, carry fix-a-flat, or get a spare of the right size.

i like the idea that i will just move a rear tire to the front and put the spare on the rear. requires a little more work while on the side of the road, but sounds good to me. thanks. and i dont think a full size will fit in the spare carrier. not sure though.
