ok ive got a question how EXACTLY can you tell what kind of ti you have Active,sport...etc ????? i dont know what i have but im 20% sure i have a active

Assuming the previous owner did not do anything to the body.

Sport -> ///M moldings on the side. Black rear valence and M3 luxury bumper. 16" 5 spoke wheels.

Active -> cruise, OBC standard, 15" 10 spoke wheels (I think)

Base -> wheel covers.

I think that might depend on the year Steven,my 98 ti has 5 spoke wheels and it's an active.

That's what I thought. I've seen 15" 5 spokers.

It depends on the factory options too because I have the 5 spokes and I was told that the original owner ordered them as an option. Im not sure what size they are but I think they may be 16s.

I have an active, but then I was told actives have their bumpers painted and mine are ugly grey and I dont have flood lights, however I do have the 10 spoke wheels...so I dunno lol

On the 95-96 models the molding were not painted.

it was a tuff call for me buying a ti, I wanted obd1 and not having to get emissions inspected, but I really like the painted moldings. The painted moldings won, so hopefully I can keep the emissions passing :-D
