Sport -> ///M moldings on the side. Black rear valence and M3 luxury bumper. 16" 5 spoke wheels. Active -> cruise, OBC standard, 15" 10 spoke wheels (I think) Base -> wheel covers. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 02-11-2006, 03:49 AM | #3 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Active -> cruise, OBC standard, 15" 10 spoke wheels (I think) | I think that might depend on the year Steven,my 98 ti has 5 spoke wheels and it's an active. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 02-11-2006, 03:52 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Tyler I think that might depend on the year Steve,my 98 ti has 5 spoke wheels and it's an active. | That's what I thought. Im not sure what size they are but I think they may be 16s. | | | 02-11-2006, 06:10 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | I have an active, but then I was told actives have their bumpers painted and mine are ugly grey and I dont have flood lights, however I do have the 10 spoke wheels...so I dunno lol __________________ my new world | | | 02-12-2006, 01:06 AM | #7 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmwracerchick I have an active, but then I was told actives have their bumpers painted and mine are ugly grey and I dont have flood lights, however I do have the 10 spoke wheels...so I dunno lol | On the 95-96 models the molding were not painted. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 02-12-2006, 06:23 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Tampa, FL Posts: 677 | Quote: Originally Posted by Tyler On the 95-96 models the molding were not painted. | BASTARDS! :shakes fist of doom: __________________ my new world | | | 02-13-2006, 01:59 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | i know right....i got the ugly grey ones too! __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 02-13-2006, 02:30 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005 Location: Asheville NC Posts: 669 | Quote: Originally Posted by robcarync i know right....i got the ugly grey ones too! | it was a tuff call for me buying a ti, I wanted obd1 and not having to get emissions inspected, but I really like the painted moldings.
