Default T-Shirt

I know we have the car stickers...but I had the idea to make t-shirts. I was browsing CafePress, and couldn't really find any good BMW shirts that I liked. I want a shirt to wear to car shows, and I'd buy a 318ti.org shirt. It would look cool with the 318ti.org logo on the front breast, and just a pic of the car on the back. What do you think?

Thats a great idea, even a stenciled picture of our car would be cool looking. Maybee a picture on the back with the 318ti.org and also on the front have it say 318ti.org on the front of the shirt on the side

Hey I'd be down to get a ti shirt.
Maybe a www.318ti.org on the front...and a picture a ti's rear in the back.

Good idea, we should do it.

Hmmm... how about the 318ti.org logo on the front left, and some ti-related quotes or phrases on the back? E.g., "One mans trunk impairment is another mans ghetto booty." Or... "Six cylinder? We don't need no six cylinder! We don't got to show you any steenkin' six cylinder" (but make that quote more accurate.)

Default Licensing?? Money??

Just wondering...

If the BMW logo or roundel were used, would we need any sort of license from BMW to use that logo?

And assuming the shirts are sold at a price above cost, where does the profit go? Of course, the shirts could be sold at cost and avoid that issue altogether.

Geez... I REALLY need to get a cafepress site up and running.

I set up an account on cafepress a few weeks ago in preparation of distributing a calendar. Then I was thinking, how many people are going to want a calendar with other peoples cars? My guess is we will sell 12 calendars.

I'll look into the clothing line this weekend.
Profit? Profit goes to little things like free decals or maybe one of these days we can sponsor a large meet somewhere. All monies collected sits in my paypal account and is used to pay for hosting and licensing fees plus contributions to developers of mods that I use here. And let's not forget I've been paying for hosting for several years on my own.

ABSOLUTELY NO BMW OR ROUNDEL. Trust me, it will not be hard for someone from BMW to reach me by cellphone within minutes. And please, no one set up and merchandising on their own.
