I would like to replace the black leather M knob in my 98ti Sport. If you have a picture of your knob and recommend it, post a pic for us to see. I have had several Momo knobs in previous cars, but was thinking of going for this set from UUC motorwerks: RK Shadow Knob requirements: - Must be able to get matching eBrake - Must be shorter than stock - Should not be overly susceptible to temp change (freezing cold in winter, etc.) I would love to hear your thoughts... __________________ 1998 318ti M-Sport - Jet Black w/Millpoint RedBlack interior Pics & Info here... | | | 01-22-2005, 11:15 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | My knob is smooth like a bullet!!!!!! Put this Momo in last summer, along with an Z3 M shifter. Really short throw, very happy. http://www.geocities.com/l84thsky/3rdGear.JPG Quote: Originally Posted by gadgetphreak I would like to replace the black leather M knob in my 98ti Sport. Personally, I don't like the "chicken bone" or "golf club" looking knob. I prefer symetrical knobs. I am just about choice, gotta have choices... I like symmetrical knobs as well, however the last couple I have had have been all aluminum and would get hot to the touch after long drives or in the summer... And freezin in the winter. I think the symmetrical knob may not fit as well in the ti interior... that is why I wanted to see some pics. __________________ 1998 318ti M-Sport - Jet Black w/Millpoint RedBlack interior Pics & Info here... | | | 01-27-2005, 03:46 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 80 | I like BMW's aluminum knob... | | | 01-27-2005, 04:15 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Tyler, TX Posts: 1,022 | I have the stock black leather shift knob, but these are some of my personal favorites(click the image for website): | | | 01-27-2005, 04:20 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | Dude....I was only joking......fageddaboudit......... Have you noticed any play in the knob when you drive? __________________ 1998 318ti M-Sport - Jet Black w/Millpoint RedBlack interior Pics & Info here... | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
