Sucks to hear. Definitely get on bmw and car websites in general, post pics in the regional sections. Good luck.

plate number would help, since it's a 95, does it have unpainted sideskirts or did you paint them? by stock wheels, do you mean 15" alloys, 15" steelies or 16" alloys? any other exterior mods? I hope you get it back

Seems odd that Fulton NY comes up at the top of this page when all I did was Google Red 1995 318ti.

I had never even heard of Fulton before today!

http://www.usedpartslive.com/live/1/year/BMW/318ti/

Call them up!

Maybe that is a parts wanted page - it's hard to tell.

I wouldn't post pics or mention it on any other sites just yet. Wait a while and just lurk on all of the BMW forums. Routinely check ebay and craigslist. I'm sure you've already reported it stolen to the police, so atleast they're looking for it. Eventually you'll see some hellrot parts parts pop up online otherwise the car will pop up on the other end of town somewhere. Chances are they didn't steal it because of it's value, they probably just needed something to get somewhere. If you do see hellrot or Ti specific parts pop up on any of these sites, don't say anything to alert them, just act like an interested buyer until you could get some information from them, perhaps a paypal acct or an address to mail a money order to or even a place to pic it up locally. How much gas was in it? That's how far you need to look. Good luck.

Also FWIW, you could call the US/Canada border and give them your plate#, make model and color. IIRC, they took my information last time I crossed into Canada.

Found it!!! and in good condition. Some kid must have really needed a ride home. They drove it about 10miles to and apartment complex and parked it. Cops just happen to see it with the window down while it was snowing so they ran the plates. Of course this was the day after i went out and bought a Nissan Titan

Cool. I wonder if it has been sitting there the whole time or if he's been using it.

Is the ignition messed up?

Cops did a good job checking out the situation.
