I finally ended the mechanical part of the engine swap !!
The double-vanos unit is changed and the engine needed a little attention.
And we made a custom exhaust with OEM M3 look RVS tips
Offcourse we needed to check if everything is oké, so we took it a weekend to the Nürburgring in Germany.
It was a little busy on the Autobahn, but 230 km/h is no problem at all.
Here are some pictures, a small video will follow !!

It really is a unique experience
For Americans it's allmost impossible to drive with your own car, but sometimes you can spot one !!
Probable people with to much money

M3 rear break Dear Friend, Congratulations concerning your car! Could you provide me more details concerning the rear break modification. I bought the M3 calipers and rotors and I would like to know what should I modified to install the parts in my E36 323ti compact. Kind Regards. Joao.

Thanks ! I use it allmost every day and it's still a pleasure to drive
I'm not really sure, because it is a long time ago, but I think the M3 brakes don't fit on the standard rear axle.
I've got the rear axle from an Z3 M, they have the same M3 brakes and bigger shafts.
