Default dilemma

i changed my front brakes and it went fine until i had to put on the passenger side caliper. one of the guide bolts wont fasten in to the housing. I think the part that the screw goes into is striped. my question is there a way to fix this with out buying a new caliper housing? and if i do how much would that be?!

That has happened to me.
I would back out the other pin and be sure the caliper is flush with the carrier bracket.

I always do it by hand and keep them one loose before tightening the other.

Now if the carrier bracket it stripped, you can rethread it and buy a new guide pin.
