Hey all,
I've been having a really weird sunroof problem lately that I was hoping someone had a clue about. Half the time it works fine, then suddenly it stops working. Seems to be completely random, and almost certainly electrical (no grinding or weird noises). The switch suddenly just doesn't do anything. I've taken out the switch and the motor and tested them with the multimeter, they and all their connections seem fine (and look fine - no corrosion). Of course, the random gremlin could have disappeared as soon as I took it apart, cause it worked when I put it back together. And then it stopped working. And started again. And so forth. The fuse is fine, btw. Any ideas at all what could cause such a random problem, or has anybody else had these symptoms? There really seems to be no rhyme or reason about when it works and doesn't.
